Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of predisposing factors, enabling factors and needs factors on senior center participation, based on the Andersen Model. For this study we analyzed 614 sample who were over 60 in `Seoul Mid & Elderly Leisure Life Survey` data, using a logistic regression analysis. The results were as follows: (1) Descriptive statistics showed that about 16.4% older adults were using senior centers. The sample subject possessed somewhat positive impression towards the overall senior centers, whereas in terms of age and class of users, they had strong realization that the users with higher age and low income mainly use them. (2) Logistic regression results showed that predictors of using the senior center were age, age squared, education level, cognitive level of senior centers, and image for senior centers. Based on this study we suggest the practical implication to promote the use of the senior center.
